You have been subscribed to a public security bug:
Right now, if you set your laptop to go into standby - when the monitor
is shut. Then, if you press the shutdown button (to get the shutdown
menu) and shut the laptop...
The laptop will standby, however on resume it will not prompt you for a
password (as it normally does and should) but rather it will resume with
you at the menu.
This is a security bug.
