Hi,
I got a Lenovo T61 with nVidia Quadro NVS 140M and after installing
gutsy from CD the screensaver/power-manager/xset was able to switch my
display off after 6 Minutes. I'm using the xorg vesa driver because nv
is not working. Now some aptitude upgrades later DPMS is not working
anymore,
xset dpms force off just "blanks" the screen,
but vbetool dpms off still works and switches the screen off.
Is there a possibility to tell gnome to use vbetool??
Anyway it would be great to switch the backlight with the gnome-screensaver
again.
It's because it worked already in gutsy and is gone now....?
