Thank you for your bug report. Please try going to
System->Preferences->Sessions. Is 'ask on logout' checked? If not, you
must have unchecked it sometime, somehow, since here I get the logout
confirmation. Since another user on your system has a working log out
dialog, it doesn't really sound like a bug.
