Yes, I've got the following on the end of my /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy main universe
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy-updates main universe
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy-proposed main universe
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy-security main universe

I've re-run apt-get update and tried getting the debug symbols again, no
luck. I've got the following evolution components installed:

_If_ I'm reading what apt-cache show evolution-dbgsym says correctly,
then it appears it depends on a version of evolution that hasn't been
released yet. I've tried specifying the same version of evolution-dbgsym
as the evolution version (via sudo apt-get install evolution-dbgsym =
2.22.2-0ubuntu1.3), but that doesn't exist.

Evolution runs fine for me, and has done since the upgrade, and as the
crash happened during part of the magic of the hardy upgrade, I don't
know how to replicate the original problem, so I can't just build a
debug version :(

One thing that I can't see as being a factor, but I'll mention on the
off-chance, is that at the time of the upgrade, my ISP's DNS servers had
been playing up, with a high number of timeouts on valid hosts.
