To get them in somewhere, you have to talk to the designers of icon sets. gnome-session is certainly able to cope with icon themes and everything. If you want to include those icons in the gnome-icon-theme, I suggest filing a GNOME bug about that, the same goes for Tango, Tangerine, etc.
The 'ZzZ' bit was discussed before and deemed to be difficult for people not knowing comics, etc. To make it clear: I understand it, but I don't think my parents will. But my opinion is not definitive to the process.
