I agree that nautilus could, in these circumstances, tell im Mb how the
current copy process exceed the available size. This would help the
final user.

However, unless I'm wrong, I think that we can't do anything about the
main problem : according to the file system and the quantity of files to
copy from a filesystem to another, the final available size can always
differ. At least we can make this easier for the final user by showing
how many Mb should be removed from the copy selection.
