Binary package hint: gnome-applets
When trying to start volume control in panel error message appears:
"Gstreamer-Plugin or Nixer couldn't be found"
When trying to reinstall several sound applets Synaptic crashes.
Attempt: # dpkg --configure -a
Richte gnome-applets ein (2.22.2-0ubuntu2) ... does'nt really help - same
error message
Sound worked without any problem in earlier sessions
