You have been subscribed to a public bug: My daughter had trouble when she tried to use Kodak EasyShare software, version 4.0.4.177 to acquire pictures which I believe I created using gThumb. I am reporting this to you as I imagine it is important to authors of gThumb to interoperate with Kodak software. I have no trouble making use of this site here. Problem solved by putting unprocessed camera files in separate directory and having her download one at a time. For example http://katieandjames.us/biggrad/100_0875.JPG
The webpage her Kodak software choked on is at http://www.katieandjames.us/graduation/ I created the web page, believe I used gThumb to do it. gThumb version 2.7.9 operations on original camera files were: * reduced pix to 1024 X 768 * created web album page * used gFTP 2.0.18 to move page to web at http://katieandjames.us/graduation/ Daughter's intent is to use Kodak Easyshare software to send pictures to Kodak and have prints made. Neither she nor I is a power user, and we cannot answer complex questions or run complex tests. However, I will be happy to try simple things for you, run simple tests, etc. She may also be willing to help out with verification of simple stuff. Follow on report: July 7 - downloaded Kodak Easyshare software (40MB+) and tried to reproduce daughter's problem. No success at reproducing her difficulty, and the Kodak software seems to work as one would expect. - BobG Robert Griswold - [EMAIL PROTECTED] ** Affects: gthumb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid -- Kodak program chokes on files created by gThumb https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/246097 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gthumb in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
