Attempting to play a specific quicktime video (with Totem) that I made
(slideshow) hard locks system. Screen goes blank and key combinations to
start new session etc do nothing. Only option at this point is to power
down laptop by holding down power button. Video will play with VLC and
MPlayer with no problem. With this particular video file problem is
reproducible 100% of the time. I also have an mp3 file that will cause
the problem about 50% of the time.
Laptop is a Dell 700m, with integrated Intel 855 video chipset and
SigmaTel STAC 9750.
Kernal version is 2.6.24-19-generic
