still an issue. run the following command:

for i in `seq 1 1000`; do mkdir foobardir; cd foobardir; done

then delete this stack of folders (graphically, right click -> move to
trash...)

when you now try to empty your trash... nothing happens. the trash is
not emptied and there is not even any error message (neither the bad
debian one nor the very bad ubuntu one).
