I have tried ubuntu 8.04 (no beta or alpha edition) on a sony vaio vgn-
fs595vp, and when I enable autologin from the login-window program, the
program seems to crash/hang and I hear a loud noise from my harddrive?
This goes on for 40-50 seconds and then everything is fine. But it
sounds like my harddrive is about to break. In ubuntu 7.10 there was no
such problem.
