You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Opening a .tex file (like blah.tex) with xdg-open and gnome-open (and
therefore also Gnome-Do) fails. Error is: "Error showing url: There is
no default action associated with this location." (or similar, I'm on a
German system).
Also, I can't find a way to tell them to open .tex files with Gedit or anything
else for that matter.
This works perfectly in Nautilus.
