** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-session I am not sure how this is supposed to work, or if everything is in flux. However, when booting the current daily-live, metacity is started and not compiz. If I run "gnome-wm" on the command line, compiz starts. Looking at gconf values, I see that "metacity" is part of - /desktop/gnome/session. I thought this should be gnome-wm, since gnome- - wm will start either compiz or metacity on basis of capabilities and my - preferences. But just replacing metacity with gnome-wm in this gconf key - won't work, since it will need a corresponding desktop file. There is a - metacity.desktop and a compiz.desktop, but no gnome-wm.desktop. So I - think there should be gnome-wm.desktop shipped in the gnome-session - package. + /desktop/gnome/session/default-session.
