Just like the title says. I realise this is probably more a feature
request than a bug, but I feel bugged by it, so...

The reason I enable auto-login for is that I shall not feel "restricted"
in any way on my own computer. But having to enter a password for
getting WLAN undermines the whole point of enabling auto-login (the
password dialog after standby or suspend as well, but there's ways
around that).

I would really love to see a way to get around that keychain password
dialog in the next version of Ubuntu. If it has to have a big, fat,
warning about the security implications, then that's fine. I would also
link the three settings "no password for login" / "no password for wlan"
/ "no password after suspend, standby" together, UI-wise - like is done
with screensaver and power saving options already.

** Affects: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Wishlist
         Status: Incomplete
