This all began after applying update this morning, titled alpha4. Intrepid had
been performing flawlessly prior to updates.
Now panel icons launch gimp. Opening Thunderbird reults in firefox and terminal
crash.
Gnome-settings-daemon keeps resetting to human (blue). Keyboard arrows not
working.
