Yes, this is still any issue. The monitor from power up is non-
functional. If I force a suspend, upon return the monitor displays
values. I have not tested if the values properly reflect reality.

To replicate the monitor failure re-boot or cold start the system while
on battery power. My notification preference is set to: "only display an
icon when charging or discharging". Upon startup the battery monitor
indicates a completely discharged cell. (Laptop battery discharging 0%)

Please find attached a tar file containing the resultant log files
requested.
