SOLVED I've found the solution to my issue here : http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-284438.html
First I backup the entire .evolution folder (just in case) : $ cp -R .evolution .evolution.bak Then I rename (I could have deleted it) the ev-summary file of one of the impaired folder, so that Evolution does not find it anymore when it starts. Example: "Copains-amis.ev-summary" renamed to "Copains-amis.ev-summary.bak" When Evolution restarts, it (re)synchronises which means (re)creates the summary according to the folder content. It works : I have recovered the five something thousand mails. Thanks Ubuntu guys ! -- Evolution client "lost" the inbox folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192787 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
