Update - sorry about the flip-flopping here, but I just succeeded in getting my Canon PIXMA ip-4000 working in Dapper using Turboprint 1.94-2. I set the printer up in the Turboprint config utility and then used the CUPS web interface to adjust the settings to be the same both places.
It prints from Glabels now with the CORRECT top margin. I was still curious why the Samsung top margin is too large, so I tried the lj4dith driver instead of the recommended pxlmono driver.
