If this is an issue with nautilus, should it be sent upstream. I use breezy but I find the listing of unmounted filesystems in the sidebar ridiculous.
The default behavior of gnome is this: If a cd is inserted, camera plugged in, etc, the volume gets mounted automatically and a dialog pops up asking what to do (open, etc). So there is no need for an alternative method of opening (mounting and browsing) an UNmounted volume as this functionality already exists by default (autorun). At the very least, there should be an option in gconf-editor to change this behavior. -- shows not mounted devices https://launchpad.net/bugs/41740 -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
