At this date, I still have an occasion where the audio has locked up after being to a utube site or something similar like watching a news video. Then the Rhythmbox player won't play either. I've tried to investigate to see what exactly locks up but have come up empty. Rebooting cures it in this case, so all is not lost. :-)
