Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
On connecting a Panasonic DMC-LX2 digital camera to Ubuntu, F-Spot launches, offers to download photos and attempts to connect to the camera. This fails with the error message 'Error connecting to camera - Received error "Unspecified error" while connecting to camera'. No photos are transferred. I have observed the same bug on other Ubuntu installations (same version of Ubuntu) and also on a Debian Etch installation. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04 ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: f-spot On connecting a Panasonic DMC-LX2 digital camera to Ubuntu, F-Spot launches, offers to download photos and attempts to connect to the camera.
