Public bug reported: Affects: gthumb (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed
Description: I've got a (brand new) Canon 30D, and while experiementing with it connected to my Breezy laptop I came across the following problem. If the device has any RAW image files (in my case, they are .CR2 files) then gthumb has issues seeing any .JPG files also on the device. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't, and it tends to be an "all or nothing" affair. This is annoying particularly as the camera has a dual-shoot mode that stores not only a .JPG, but a .CR2 RAW file as well. Note that gphoto -L lists all the files on the device no problems. PS: I'm willing to try special builds or backports to get/prove this bug is or has been fixed. -- Problems caused by raw mode files on target device https://launchpad.net/bugs/42506 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
