When running on battery power (no AC plugged in), every few minutes, the
display slowly dims then slowly brightens again. After a few minutes, it
does the same again. I'm just browsing the web but it's not that the
display is responding to a lack of activity (eg reading and no mouse
movement) because waggling the mouse makes no difference (eg it just
continues dimming).

When I had a look in the Power Management dialog, the On Battery Power
tab is missing so I don't know what the battery power settings are. I'm
sure that it is present on this machine in Hardy (I'll double-check next
time I reboot into Hardy).

I have installed all the alpha 6 updates to date.

On a Samsung Q35 laptop.
