Public bug reported:

Affects: eog (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
In current Dapper eog seem to run in some kind of endless-loop when opening a
.jpg picture.
It shows the picture but CPU stays at 100% and more and more memory gets eaten
up (well more than 150MB for a 160KB picture).
gThumb uses ~23MB for the same picture and has no problems.

When launching eog in an terminal window it keeps printing

No profile, not correcting

on the console which could be connected to this behaviour.

In Breezy it worked fine and other gtk2-based viewers (gthumb, gqview)
do not have the problem.
