thank you for your efforts on that, the log is weird and seems to indicate a libpango issue. could you change the caller number to 60 and get a new log? do you have similar issues in other applications? what fonts do you use? how do you try to install the icon theme? the capplet doesn't want to install the zip which is to download on the website you indicated
