well let me explain why i got into that confusion of totem/vlc ... the thing is that if i restart my laptop, and open the video using vlc the color is perfect, but if I open it with totem, the video is decolorized and any video i open after then with totem or vlc, gets decolorized. so in summary: if i only use vlc, everything gets good colors and if for some reason i open totem all videos get decolorized for the rest of the session untill i restart.
