Basically, sometimes (when the ubuntu splash shows) ubuntu 8.10 beta
will load perfectly fine. However, when it doesn't show the splash (and
it seems to just be booting up anyway) it gets past the booting, and the
screen just goes black. I'm not sure what information to give you, so
just ask for what you want.
