Ubuntu 8.04

I have configured a laptop for my mother-in-law and enabled automatic
login because she is the only user and the laptop lives at her house.

What happens:
* Under 'System > Administration > Login Window > Security' I have selected
'Enable Automatic Login'
* The system logs into the desktop when it starts
* The system asks for a password before accessing the secured wireless network

What I expect to happen:
* When I have selected 'Enable Automatic Login' all non adminstrative tasks
should be unlocked.

Similar bugs are bug #236264 and bug #229530

Strangely, under 'System > Administration > Password and Encryption
Settings > Password Keyrings' it says: "login Automatically unlocked
when user logs in."
