When I restart the machine, I have the sound for only the first
application that requires the sound, but if I close the first
application that is playing sound and open the different application,
then the second one does not have a sound. I have to restart the
computer to get the sound.
For example: I am playing video's on youtube. I close Firefox, and open
VLC media player to play mp3 or DVD, then I do not have a sound. I have
to restart the computer if I want the sound back.
