When I unplug the power plug from my laptop, gnome-power-manager does
not dim the LCD backlight. If I right click the applet and select
preferences it suddenly dims it to the correct level. Then when I plug
in the power, the LCD backlight is not returned to the original state,
but stays at the low level.
I am using the Ubuntu Intrepid Beta on a new Lenovo t500. There was no
problem in the alphas.
The package version is 2.24.0-0ubuntu3
and my kernel version is 2.6.27-6-generic
