every time i try to use the keyboard shortcuts to raise or lower the
volume on my dell inspiron 1501 on intrepid it moves by a quarter each
time instead of a more sensible amount as i am used to rendering the
shortcuts all but useless. this bug turned up in updates since i first
installed intrepid. the volume control applet and other methods to
control the volume still work fine.
