I have just built a machine using VIA EPIA ML6000 motherboard and 1 GB of ram.
On try to install or run the live CD the install just hangs with a black screen
and no errors.
The chain of events are
1. Start install
2. orange bar bounces back and forth like knight rider for a bit
3. Orange bar than stards to grow in size incrementaly like a proper progress
bar.
4. Progress bar gets to 100%
5. Screen goes bank with _ cursor flashing in the to left corner and that is
where it ends!!
I have verified the CD is not corrupted.
I then tried to run 7.10 just to make sure it was not a hardware issue
as it is a new build machine but 7.10 live CD started first time no
problems.
