I just downloaded Ubuntu 8.10 via Bittorrent and burned it to disc using
Brasero at maxium speed (52x) and went to use the live cd and it flashed
a orange screen then after about 7 seconds went black with the mouse
still there, so i restarted the computer and tryed to install it
instead, it installed fine, got to the log on screen typed my user name
and password the flashed orange screen then went black, i then left it
for 5 minutes and no change.
i checked the md5 sums and they are correct and re burnt it at 4x and no
change
