Binary package hint: nautilus
Here is how to reproduce the bug:
1) Click and drag on desktop
2) Hold it down for more than three seconds.
3) Release mouse.
4) You should now see the rectangle you drew on the desktop until you
restart or log out.
I am running Ubuntu 8.04.1 Kernel 2.6.24-21-generic with all the
latest patches and updates on a Toshiba Portege M200. I am running
Compiz Fusion and Nautilus 2.22.5.1. Please let me know if there is any
more info I can give you.
