I read currently that the 8.10 release will be coming in 22 days but i
read also that the 8.04.1 will be supported till 2011, so i don't know
if is this report relevant for you.
I have installed a few day's ago the xubuntu release 8.04.1 Hardy heron
on my desktop pc with the live cd. I set the screen resolution
[EMAIL PROTECTED] The desktop is allways in evry session in the right
resolution. But in boot pase also in login screen starting screen till
the desktop comes is the display in a any wrong resolution. That doesn't
looks elegant.
