** Description changed:

  When you give a certain action a global keyboard shortcut in the
  System->Pref->Keyboard Shortcuts window, and then later want to delete
  that shortcut, by pressing backspace when you select the shortcut, it
  clears then selected shortcut but in reality it's still there. When you
  press the button(s) it still does that action and when you go and check
  in the Keyboard Shortcuts window, afterwards, it doesn't show.

+ I'm using an up-to-date 8.10 64bit.

+ 1) Launch Keyboard Shortcuts
+ 2) Choose shortcut switch to workspace 1
+ 3) Press shift+alt+F12
+ 4) Choose shortcut switch to workspace 1
+ 5) Press backspace
+ 6) close the window
+ 7) the shortcut is still active
