Up-to-date intrepid I too suffer from same issue, brasero hangs while trying to burn audio-cd from mp3 files backtrace included.
Not sure if problem would occur after reboot since uptime 22:43:16 up 4 days, 2:39, 2 users, load average: 0.72, 0.60, 0.64 But that shouldn't affect? Tried reinstalling brasero, tried removing it's config file ~/.config/brasero/ No help.
