The "Update Manager" told me there were 14 updates available. The list included these problematic updates for totem-common and gnome-icon- theme. So I tried to get all the updates. The problematic ones failed. I think one of the other updates should have resulted in kernel 2.6.27 being placed on my system. It is not there. I suspect that all 14 updates failed but the update manager thinks that I have them. I think that I need to repeat these updates but there does not seem to be a way to do this.
