Binary package hint: gedit
Saving of files does not work properly with gedit on Ubuntu Dapper Beta
when the file is stored in an cifs-filesystem.
Try this:
1. Open an empty gedit.
2. Write some stuff.
3. Save the stuff on the cifs-filesystem. First save usually works.
4. Make some changes.
5. Try to save the changed stuff using simply "save" (Ctrl+S). On my system I
get the following error:
"Die Datei »/media/fs1:mycifs/test« konnte nicht gespeichert werden."
In englisch: "File could not be saved."
