When I plug in my external harddrive (ext3) at Intrepid Ibex 8.10 I get
this error message:
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply.
Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the
message bus security policy
blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was
broken.
After clicking away the error message, I can access to the files. Owner
is 1000 then.
It is not only on an installed system, but also when running a live
system. I also tested different machines, it's all the same.
When starting Kubuntu or Xubuntu 8.10, everything works fine, so it
seems to be Nautilus or GNOME specific.
Earlier versions of Ubuntu mount the harddrive perfectly out of the box.
** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
