Public bug reported:
Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
>From menus: System -> Administration -> Login Window
I choose to enable automatic login in the "Security" tab of the Login
Window PReferences. I enter a user for auto login.
When I close the window, and repeat the process, the user is not listed for
auto login. Auto login does not happen.
Other features do get saved.
The user I am trying is listed as an eligible user in the Users tab of the
Login Window Preferences.
