Public bug reported:
When working on my laptop in Ubuntu Intrepid now and then Ubuntu suddenly logs
me off without any warning. I get a black screen then back to Ubuntu for a
second with the x-mouse curser whereafter I'm returned to the login screen.
It appears to me to be a problem with the package gdm since I have the
following line in my daemon.log just when the log out occurs:
Dec 4 13:46:39 t-boo-laptop gdm[18102]: WARNING: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler:
Fatal X error - Restarting :0
I am running gdm version 2.20.8Ubuntu3.
I've attached the daemon.log where the error message occurred.
