Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I'm using Evolution 2.24.x in Ubuntu 8.10.

I'm trying to setup Evolution to use my Google Apps Calendar, but cannot
for two reasons (will report two bugs). One reason is because the
username for the account is my full e-mail address for the account. If
I enter the information for the CalDAV share, click [ OK ], then right
click on the calendar and choose "Properties" I see that the server
field has been changed to put everything after the @ symbol between
caldav:// and the url. Not only that, but it repeats that text about
seven times. For instance (just an example) if my username is
[EMAIL PROTECTED] the server field would look something like this:

caldav://[EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL
PROTECTED]@@www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/events

Also, the username field now just has the beginning of my e-mail address
(i.e. pgoodall) instead of the full e-mail address.

In an effort to work around the problem I tried entering my username as
pgoodall%40example.com. This sort of fixed it in that the username now
has the full e-mail address, and the server address is (mostly)
unmolested. However, the calendar still does not connect properly.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
