Using Ubuntu 8.10
The gnome chess application will not start, when I click on "Chess" in
Applications -> Games, Chess displays in the panel, then goes away and
Chess does not open. It has worked in the past.
I recently installed python 2.6.1 from source and ever since then Chess
doesn't open.
I know this isn't enough information, I don't know how to get more
information about this problem since I can't get to "Help -> report a
bug" in the application itself.
