libpt2.4.2 is ok, no conflict with existing package libopal3.4.2 needs libpt2.4.2 to be backported , but conflicts with libopal2.2-develop. Nevertheless, the rdepends of libopal2.2-develop are : Reverse Depends: libopal3.4.2 simpleopal ekiga-gtkonly libspeex1 libopal-dev libopal-2.2 ekiga
So if we backport ekiga I think nothing will be broken.
