I'm running Ubuntu 8.04.1 with GNOME 2.22.3, metacity 2.22.0, and
xserver-xorg-video-ati 6.8.0-1.
When gnome-terminal is in full-screen mode (F11), and I take an action
which requires gnome-keyring access (ssh with key-based authorization in
this case), GNOME locks up fully. The terminal stays in the foreground,
but will not accept any input. Alt-Tab window switching fails. The only
way I found to get out of this deadlock is to switch to a virtual
console and kill the gnome-keyring-ask process.
The expected behaviour is for the gnome-keyring-ask dialog to pop up on
top, even when gnome-terminal is in full-screen mode (as exemplified by
the gksu password dialog).
