Ok, i'm not on a laptop and also have trouble navigating around with the keyboard but the mouse does work for me. Ahah, it seems that + and - expand the listed items in the tree-view (or shift & arrow-keys) - seems non-standard but there seems to be good reason. Ok, i can navigate with my keyboard now but just have to remember how. Is this way working for you too?
