Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
Hello,
I'm using Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex with Evolution Mail client (new
installation, i386 desktop).
Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10
I was a Kmail user before, and that client allows people to filter email
trough pipes, so I developed a python filter to manage my mail.
I used the "Pipe to an extenal program" filter option by setting my
script without parameters.
The procedure fails so I tried to use this simple script instead :
#!/bin/bash
tee /home/myname/test.txt
and send a mail to myself by filling the body with "Hi, this is a test".
The program seem to run the script and the file test.txt has written,
but his length is zero, as like as the message has not sent to the
standard input.
Is this a BUG ?
Thanks.
