I think the right way to install totem-xine is only to issue:
sudo apt-get install totem-xine
totem-xine conflicts with totem-gstreamer, and the latter will be
removed automatically. totem is only a virtual package, no need to
remove it.
Can you chech that, and report so we can do something or close the bug ?
