Thank you, Alex, so I am closing this bug since the original bug is no
longer present.
I think treating "gksu" special would be the wrong way. The run dialog
could be improved by providing a checkbox
[ ] Run as superuser
this would keep commands like "sudo" and "gksu" out of the run dialog
and the icon preview would work correctly. I think we have already a
request like this in launchpad but I am not 100% sure.
